If arrival is later than 22:00, please inform the hotel.

Restaurant

Our restaurant is open daily from 1 May to 15 October from 18:00-20:30(last seating). 
Reservations are required; please contact reception to reserve a table.
* please note that in October restaurant opening hours can vary depending on occupancy.

From 16th of October until 30th of April the restaurant opening hours depend on hotel occupancy. Kindly contact the hotel for more information.

Breakfast time

From 15 May to 30 October, breakfast is open daily from 7:30 AM until 9:30 AM (might change depending on occupancy than reception informs the time at check in).
From 1 November until 14 May, please contact reception about opening time for breakfast.

Do you offer Laundry service?

Hofsstaðir Country Hotel does unfortunately not offer laundry service.

Is there coffee and tea in the rooms?

Yes, all our rooms have coffee and tea. Our Deluxe rooms and Deluxe Plus rooms have as well coffee machine.

Do you have hot tubs?

Hofsstaðir country Hotel does not have a hot tubs.

In Skagafjordur area there are a few swimmings pools and natural hot springs all with in driving distance from the hotel.

Question 8

Can I fly my drone around?

Drone flying without permission is not allowed. This is private property. 
We have horses around the property and sensitive birdlife is around the hotel.

Do you have charging stations for electric cars?

Unfortunately we do not have charging stations for electric cars.
Nor is the electrical system is the rooms is designed to charge cars.

Next available charging stations are at gas stations in Saudarkrokur about 16 minutes drive from Hofsstadir Country Hotel.

Is the hotel open all year?

Hofsstaðir Country Hotel is open most of the year however the hotel is closed over December and January each year.
