Hofsstaðir Country Hotel is a family-run country hotel in the heart of Skagafjörður.
The hosts are Guðný Vésteinsdóttir and Þórólfur Sigjónsson.
The Hotel is located in a peaceful setting, surrounded by beautiful nature on the banks of Héraðsvötn river, with views over both land and sea.
We, the owners and our staff, place great emphasis on creating a warm atmosphere and offering personal service, where guests can enjoy comfort and the tranquility of the surrounding nature.

Hofsstaðir Farmhouse
About 850 meters from the hotel, you will find the farm accommodation at Hofsstaðir.
It is a cozy and personal accommodation run by Guðný’s parents, Elinborg and Vésteinn, who live on the farm.
The farm accommodation has been in operation since 2009.
The rooms are 20 m² in size and feature private bathrooms.
Breakfast and dinner are served at the Hofsstaðir Country Hotel.
